About

About

I plan to obtain a Ph.D. in Physics and execute experimental research at the intersection of physics, materials science, and chemistry in a university environment.

As a student, I work to excel in academics, research, and leadership. Through this I not only hope to advance the scholarly body of research in my field, but also to increase the visibility of underrepresented groups in physics and improve science communication of physics.

Going into my third year of at the University of Florida, I am working to establish and refine the research questions I hope to address in graduate school. Broadly, I am interested in the synthesis and characterization of novel materials to learn more about the fundamental nature of matter. I have previous experience in this pursuit with both optoelectronic materials and ferromagnetic materials.
